The tour begins with ikebana, as guests participate in a flower arranging lesson. Then, guests will be shown the techniques involved in wearing a kimono, which will be put on in preparation for participation in a traditional tea ceremony. Guests are given a chance to learn about the ceremonial greetings and rites involved in this method of enjoying tea, which have remained unchanged since the 15th century.
